Serenity One is a 40 ft Scape sailing catamaran that sails from the V&A Waterfront on private charters of one hour to a full day. Her single open deck, covered cockpit and bar make her an easy boat to host on, whether the group wants music and drinks or a quiet sail.

Who she suits

With room for up to 40 guests, Serenity One is a good fit for launches, birthday parties, team functions and friends who want a private boat for a sunset sail. The bar has eight seats around it, and the open trampoline up front is popular for photos on a calm day.

On board

Twin 55 hp engines back up a full sailing rig. On deck there is a covered cockpit, padded seating, two marine toilets, a cash or card bar, a braai, a hand-held shower and a Bluetooth sound system. Stand-up paddleboards and jet skis can be added.

What a private charter looks like

Short sails cross Table Bay towards Robben Island, the Blouberg beaches or Sea Point; four hours or more can reach Clifton, with the course set on the day by wind and weather. A two-hour sunset sail is also offered. Serenity One runs day charters only.
