Explore Catamaran Private Charter

Explore is a 39 ft (11 m) Scape Yachts sailing catamaran moored at the V&A Waterfront. As a private yacht charter she gives a group its own boat, crew and bar for anything from two hours to a full day on Table Bay, under sail or motor.

Who she suits

Explore is set up for socialising: a covered deck with a large bar and padded seating all round. She takes a maximum of 33 guests, and a group of around 25 to 30 is the most comfortable fit, which suits birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette groups and smaller company outings.

On board

Facilities include a cash or card bar, a gas braai, a galley, two heads, a roofed trampoline area, teak decking, blankets, swim ladders, hand-held showers, free Wi-Fi and a sound system. Explore is booked for day charters only and is not available for overnight charters.

Routes and add-ons

Charters head towards Robben Island, the Blouberg beaches or Clifton, depending on the weather and wind. Extras can be booked ahead: a private chef, gin, wine or whisky tastings, a photographer or videographer, seal snorkelling, stand-up paddleboards, a super tube and jet skis.
